Students at American Heritage of South Jordan enjoy many possibilities for classes—both required and elective. Lower school students spend most of their day with their homeroom teacher, however, during the week, they rotate through extended learning classes such as organized P.E., language, library time, computers, and music. For specific information regarding curriculum in various grades, please see the AHSJ Course Catalog.
Middle and Upper School students have the opportunity to select from a long list of elective classes in addition to those required for their particular grade level. Older students have the most flexibility in selecting classes based on personal preference since AHSJ and State required courses have a four-year “window” for completion.
