The TOFEL exam is the test of English as a foreign language, and one that is required for international students to be accepted into U.S. Universities. The test is administered by ETS, the Educational Testing Service.
During an international student’s first year at American Heritage of South Jordan, he is enrolled in two English courses: one, focuses on grammar, sentence structure, and writing; and the second stresses reading, comprehension, listening, and speaking. Both courses help a student to build a strong English foundation, while preparing for the TOEFL exam.
We encourage students to prepare for the exam using the materials provided through ETS. The online programs have worked best for our students; we have included the links below. We work closely with the juniors and seniors to schedule the exams and determine the scores needed for their desired schools.
